replace
oil
seal
with
a
new
one
whenever
differential
carrier
is
disassembled

flange
and
washer
and
tighten
pinion
nut
with
prescribed
tightening
torque

Turn
flange
to
let
pinion
bearing
breaking
in
and
make
sure
that
preload
of
pinion
is
correct
again
Adjusting
side
bearing
shim

Use
the
same
shim
again
unless
differential
case
side
bearing
and
or
carrier
is
replaced
or
preload
of
bearing
is
abnormal

When
replacing
side
bearing
use
weight
block
of
approximately
