WhenyoufirstuseyourMAXMemorycardinyourXbox360itwillbeoncard1.Ifyouareusinga
microSDwhichis1GBormorethenyouwillhavemorethanone512MBcardavailable.Tochange

toadifferentcardsimplypressthepagebuttononthefrontoftheMAXMemorycard.Whenusing
the360Dashboard‘Memory’screens,thememorycardwilldisappearforamomentandwillre‐
appearasMemoryCard2.
Repeatthisprocessto‘Page’throughthemultiplememorycards.
Followthesestepstoaccessthe360Dashboard‘Memory’screens:
1. TurnontheXbox360andgotothe360
dashboard/Nextinterface
2. Select‘MyXbox’
3. Select‘SystemSettings’
4. Select‘Memory’
Usingthe360Dashboard‘Memory’screensyouareabletoconfirmthememorycardwhichyou
have
chosenbyeitherconfirmingthememorycardnameorcontents.
WhenyouswitchoffyourconsoleorremoveyourMAXMemorycarditwillrememberwhichpage
youwereonandstartonthatcard.

Donotattempttopagethoughthemultiplememorycardswhennotsetto
the360Dashboard.


ThefollowingsituationonlyappliestouserswhodoNOTgoonlineorconnecttoLIVEwith
theirconsoleandareusingMAXMemorytoholdtheirprofile:
ThereisaminorbugintheXbox360dashboard(asofthecurrentversionNovember2009)where
if
youareloggedintoaprofilefromthecard,ifyouremovethecardthenre‐insertit,eventhough
youareusingthesamecardyouwillneedtologoutandlogbackintogetfullaccesstoyour
profile.
Thiseffecthappensinexactlythesame
waywhenyouchangecardsontheMAXMemory.For
exampleifyoulogintoaprofilefromcard1,thenchangetocard2andthenbacktocard1–to
regainfullaccesstoyourprofileyouneedtologoutandbackin.
Thefollowingsituationonly
appliestopeoplewhoDOgoonlinewiththeirXbox360(those
whoconnecttoLIVE)andareusingMAXMemorytoholdtheirprofile:
Asyouwillbeaware,ifyougoonlinewithyourXbox360consoleyouwillberequiredtodownload
anXbox360LIVEupdate.
IfyoukeeptheupdateonyourMAXmemorycardandyouhave8cards
ona4GBmicroSD,ifyouwanttousetheupdatewitheachcardthenyouwillneedtochange
cardsanddownloadtoeachcardinturn.
Ifyouareusingtheupdateand
youchangecards,theXbox360willtellyouthatitisgoingtoreset
–whichisnormal.
Ifyouintendtouseoneormoreofyour512MBcardsoftheMAXMemorywithouttheupdate(for
example–touseaprofilethatyounevergoonline
with);rememberthatifyouchangefromacard
whichdoesNOThavetheupdatetoonewhichDOES–youwillneedtorestartyourconsolein
ordertoloadtheupdate.


MAXMemoryCardManagerisaPCsoftwareapplicationdesignedtomakebackingupand
restoringyour
MAXMemorycardaseasyaspossible.

