the four figures of command "xxxx" allow to set up the label offset in points
corresponding to 1/6 mm if it is used a 6 dots/mm printhead or a 1/8mm when a
8 dots/mm printhead is used.
The command is temporary and it is lost when the machine is switched off, if you
intend to make the command permanent send from serial line the command:
/$&% nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn where:
the "nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn" are 16 numeric characters and can be only 0 (disabled)
or 1 (enabled), that allow to set some parameters of the printer following the here
below instructions:

II Print energy/speed adjustment (SET - UP mode)
III Operation mode setting (SET - UP mode)
IV Baud rate selection (SET - UP mode)
V Character map selection (SET - UP mode)
VI Left margin adjustment (SET - UP mode)
VII Direct/transfer selection (SET - UP mode)
VIII Ribbon economization (OFF - LINE mode)
IX Macro selection (OFF - LINE mode)
X Reset label counter (OFF - LINE mode)
XI Print copy of last label (OFF - LINE mode)
XII Print "status label" at power - on
XIII Alternate access to SET - UP (OFF - LINE mode)
XIV Receive data during print (ON - LINE mode)
XV Return messages and recognition of Form Feed (ON - LINE mode)
XVI Currently not used
The following parameters are stored into the non-volatile memory through this
command:
Front panel and function locks (/$&%)
Operation modes (/K)
Print speed and energy (/J e /V)
Label photosensor sensitivity (/P)
Label offset and origin (/H e /G)
Cutter/applicator parameters (/N)
Baud rate, character map and network address.
