8.1 - SAFETY MODE FOR THE MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE
WARNING: Before entering into interdiction zone created around the
AP 230 system, follow carefully the indication listed in the
safety mode for the maintenance procedure.
The phases to follow are listed below:
1 -Switch-off by pressing the red stop button
2 -Disconnect the connector located on the front panel of the printer
3 - Regulate by proceding with necessary adjustments
4 - Re-start by unlocking the red button and pressing the green button
5 - Switch-off by pressing the red stop button
6 - Insert the connector into the plug located on the front panel
7 - Re-start by unlocking the red button and pressing the green button.
now examine phase by phase the operations to be followed:
1 - Switch-off
The personnel dedicated to maintenance/installation and/or the operator must
press the "red" stop button on the emergency stopping device, turn off the detection
valve of the air compressed supply and disconnect the power cable from the printer.
2 - Disconnect
Disconnect the 4 pin plug located on the front panel of the printer, being care to
unlock the fixing nut by turning it anticlockwise, in order to unlock the plug.
3 - Adjust
Provide the necessary adjustment, following the instruction described at paragraph
11, otherwise installing new label rolls and inked ribbons.
4 - Re-start
Connect the power cable into the printer, turn on the detection valve of the air
compressed supply, unlock the red button by turning it following the sense of the
arrow marked on it and press the green start button on the emergency stopping
device.
