7 - COMPRESSED AIR CONNECTION
WARNING: It is highly recommended to install near the regulator filter
assembly "FR" and outside the interdiction zone a detection
valve to switch-off the compressed air supply in case of
emergency.
The compressed air tube will be installed following the instructions below:
1 - Connect a tube having
minimum internal diameter of
6 mm (outside diameter of 8
mm) with the air applicator
entrance and the air exit of
the emergency stopping
device.
WARNING: Use compres-
sed air tubes only,
having mechanical
charateristics that can bear
at 20° C a working pressure
of 29 bar. Tipically tubes in
"RILSAN" or similar.
WARNING : Before proceeding with connections, be sure that the
detection valve is close positon.
2 - Prepare a compressed-air tube enough long to join the air entrance of the
emergency stopping device and the exit of group “FR”, that has to be positioned
near to the emergency stopping device.
3 - Connect with a compressed air tube the air entrance of group "FR" and the exit
of the air detection valve.
WARNING : Open the detection valve of the compressed air and adjust
the exit pressure from "FR" assembly, working on the
dedicated knurled knob, following instructions described
on page 24.
