Communications
What is the best communications port to use for mobile applications?
Due to the rough environment of most mobile applications, you should recommend to your customers that
they utilize the serial port which is less susceptible to reinitializing if the power or connection is interrupted
by constant vibration.
Upgrades
How do I upgrade my customers’ printers with available options?
After completing authorized service training, you will be capable of upgrading the printers with any
compatible options. Printers may be upgraded with a compatible option at any time. Upgrades do not
have standardized pricing and must be quoted through Datamax.
