A.3.1 MainForm Mask
By choosing MainForm from the mask folder and clicking on the Open button, the
program starts and the following window appears:

On the right side there are the following buttons:
− Open Network button: starts network data collection;
− Close network button: stops network data collection;
− Status button: shows the network state;
− Products button: shows product database;
− Show Data button: shows all data of the table;
− Clear Data button: clears all data collected in the Data Collect table on the left
side.
On the left side all the collected data are ordered in the Date, Device Identification
Number, Data and Quantity field (by collecting more than one thousand packets the
list will be reset). The green or red color of this area indicates respectively that the
network is open or closed.
Before starting the data collection, the network must be configured. As already
described in the Excel example, double-click on the control ActiveX button visible in
design mode (after clicking on Design). Then, the property page dialog box appears
allowing to configure the network through the General and Collections folder (see
Chapter 9).
