A.1.1 Network Menu
The Network menu provides the following options:
− Open: starts the PC/base station data collection displayed in the data sheet. It
can be also chosen by clicking on the
icon. Before starting the collection a
dialog box appears allowing to load a system configuration previously saved.
− Close: ends the PC/base station data collection. It can be also chosen by
clicking on the
icon. Before ending the data collection a dialog box
appears allowing to save the current system configuration.
− Status: gets the network status. It may send the following messages:
• Serial line OPENED: at program start up when the
network has not started to work;
• Network is RUNNING: when data collection is active;
• Network is IDLE: when data collection is off and it
has been started at least one time.
The network status is also shown on the status bar.
− Exit: after making sure that the data collection has been completed, select this
command to exit the program. It can be also chosen by clicking on the
icon.
