To deselect Persistent Registry timing, do the following steps:
1. Select Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2. Double-tap the ‘Persistent Registry’ icon.
3. Deselect the ‘Persist Registry settings’ box.
4. Tap OK to save and exit.
