Datasheet
The Premium Line is represented by the Gryphon family while the Value Line is represented by the QuickScan
®
family.
The Touch™ reader is the Datalogic Scanning contact reading offer while the Heron™ reader can be configured as a
specialized line of product thanks to a unique shape and features that makes it the perfect solution for POS check-out.
The Premium Line features better reading performance in terms of snappiness (325 scans/sec versus 270 scans/sec),
depth of field and max resolution. Both lines offer a rating of IP42 supporting the same level of protection against dust
and water. In terms of durability, the Premium Line supports a 1.8 m / 5.9 ft drop spec versus a 1.5 m / 4.9 ft for the Value
Line. Both lines provide the same ‘ease of use’ characteristics including interface sets, Aladdin™ configuration software,
Host Download capability and distinctive features like the patented Green Spot. The Value Line provides a smaller size
and weight to better address certain applications and geographies.
