The EU Declaration of Conformity is covering only the scanner/scale. The connection of this apparatus to Point of Sale
(POS) system is subject to legal W&M requirements, required additional verification & tests where the system will be
used. These tests can be done only by NAWI manufacturer, certified partner or notified body listed by the country.
The manufacturer of the POS and the owner of the complete scale/POS system must ensure there is a declaration of
conformity for the complete system. Any modification to the system which affects metrological parameters must be
covered by a new declaration of conformity and is not the responsibility of Datalogic ADC, inc..
Scanner/Scale defined with gravity zone can be used only into this predefined zone. If the seal of the system are miss-
ing or broken, the instrument does not conform and should be put out of service.
