Indicators
The reader’s green LED L2 of J2 illuminates to indicate various functions
or errors. An optional “Green Spot” also performs useful functions. The
following tables list these indications. One exception to the behaviors list-
ed in the tables is that the reader’s functions are programmable, and so
may or may not be turned on.

A label has been successfully scanned
by the reader.

information.)
ROM Failure
There is an error in the reader's soft-
ware/programming

Mode
The scan engine is ready to read a
configuration label or a command
from the Aladdin Configuration Util-
ity.
The LED blinks continuously.
Reader
Disabled
The reader has been disabled by the
host.
The LED blinks continuously.
Green Spot

Upon successful read of a label, the
software shall turn the green spot on
for the time specified by the config-
ured value.
