1.2 - General Features

conditions is required.
The laser beam output window is on the side of the scanner in DS1100-
XXX0 models and on the upper part of the scanner in DS1100-XXX1
models, (Figure A,
).
A security system allows the laser to activate only once the motor has
reached the correct rotational speed; consequently, the laser beam is
generated after a slight delay from the power on of the scanner.
1.2.1 Indicators
The five LEDs on the scanner indicate the following:
POWER ON
(red) indicates the reader is connected to the power supply.
