Multiple Branch
In the Logic Drawer
The Multiple Branch tool provides multiple branches based on multiple conditions. When it runs, the tool
evaluates user-defined Basic-language expressions. The first branch with an expression that evaluates as
True is taken, and the tools in that branch are run. None of the other branches are taken. If none of the
expressions are True, none of the branches are taken.
This tool has no standard inputs. As variable names are entered, variables are created as inputs in the input
list. The input values can be entered manually or linked from other tools.
Click the Add Branch button to add a branch to the tool. A General BASIC expression line is added for each
branch. Type the Basic language expression for that branch in the Value field.
Pass Fail
In the Logic Drawer
When the Pass Fail tool runs, it evaluates the pass and fail status of each input tool in its Tool Name list. (Not
all tools have a pass/fail status output.) After all the input tools are evaluated, the tools in the Pass or Fail
branch are run, depending on the Pass Criteria selected.
Sort Feature The feature in the list that determines the sort order.
Sort Order The order in which to sort the list.
Output Name What it is
Sorted List The sorted list.
