The Diffuse proximity model is available in two versions: a short
range version, able to detect opaque objects up to 300 mm and
a long range version with 500 mm operating distance. The high
ambient light immunity of these models allows to use the sensor
even in presence of fluorescent and strooboscopic lamps.
