Base Station
Features
Some programming features are specific to either the scanner (hand-
held unit) or the Base Station, while others are applicable to both. Each
feature in this manual is marked with an indicator as to which unit(s) it
is applicable.
Feature is specific to scanner ONLY
Feature is specific to Base Station ONLY
Feature is applicable to scanner and Base Station.
NOTE
When programming using bar codes via the scan-
ner, it is important to remember that features affect-
ing the Base Station WILL NOT be enabled until the
new configuration is downloaded to the Base Sta-
tion using the feature Transmit Scanner Configura-
tion to Base Station on page 33.
