Printer Manager User Access Levels
TheUsernamefieldcontrolsthelevelofaccesstoinformationandsettingsthat
correspondtotheuser’sjobresponsibility.
WebUser
WebUseraccessallowsuserstoviewinformationandchangealimitedamountof
values.TheWebUseraccesslevelistypicallyusedbythepersonresponsiblefor
printingcards.Otherresponsibilitiescanincludecleaningtheprinter,ordering
printersupplies,orprintingadailyorweeklylogofcardproduction.
TheWebUseraccessleveldisplaysfourmenuselections:Status,PrinterSetting,
Maintenance,andLogOut.
WebAdmin
WebAdminaccessallowsanadministratortosetupatestcardandmakeminor
adjustmentstotheprinter.TheWebAdminuserhasaccesstoconfiguration
optionsandtheuseofdiagnosticstoolsfortroubleshooting.TheWebAdminuser
alsocanspecifyapassword(usingthePrinterSettings>UpdatePassword
option)forWebUseraccess‐levelusers.
Inacardproductionenvironment,theWebAdminaccess‐levelusertypicallysets
upthecard
design,verifiescommunicationwithexternaldatasources,andtracks
printeractivityandperformance.
