Alwaystestthereadabilityofbarcodesunderproductionconditions.Factorsto
considerinclude:
Ifyouprintcardsoneatatime,printthesamplesusingthatmethod.Ifyou
printcardsinbatch(manycardssenttotheprinteratthesametime),usea
productionsizedbatchandevaluatecardsfromthebeginning,middle,and
endofthebatch.
Useexactlythesamecardstockfortestingthatyouuseforproduction.The
cardstockcanaffectthereadabilityofbarcodes.Usually,awhitesurfacethat
reflectslightinmanydirectionsisneeded.Testcardsbeforepurchasing
productionquantities.
Includeothercarddesigncomponentsthatyouuseinproduction,suchas
topcoat.
Usethesamebarcodereadersasusershave,andtesteachcardmultiple
timestosimulateanywearthecardmightexperience.Alsotestmultiple
