2 Open the top cover.
3 Push down on the swing arm. The push latch will release the swing arm. Grasp
the handle and lift the swing arm up until it is fully open.
4 Press down on the green printhead cartridge latch to release the printhead (step 1
in Figure 4-16).

5 Lift the printhead cartridge up and off the swing arm (step 2 in Figure 4-16).
6 Remove the printhead cables.
– Push the black locking tabs to the side. Remove the gray connector of the
printhead data cable from the printhead cartridge (see Figure 4-17).
– Pull firmly on the white connector of the printhead power cable to remove it
from the printhead cartridge. You can gently pull on the wires attached to the
plug if needed to remove the cable.
