User’s Guide for the ImageCard® IV Printer

Environmental requirements

The ImageCard IV printer requires the following environmental conditions for optimal

operation:

• Operating relative humidity: 20% to 80% non-condensing

• Operating temperature range: 55° F to 80° F (13° C to 27° C)

If you store the ImageCard IV printer, provide an environment with the following

conditions:

• Storage relative humidity: 20% to 80% non-condensing

• Storage temperature range: 0° F to 100° F (-17.8° C to 37.8° C)

Unpacking the printer

After you select a location that meets the site requirements for the ImageCard IV

printer, unpack the printer.

You need a cutting device to unpack the printer.

Make sure you have two or more people to assist with unpacking the printer. Two

people can lift the printer while one or more people assist with removing packaging.

Unpack the printer

1 Place the shipping carton on the floor or other firm level surface.

2 Open the end marked “Open This End” by cutting the tape on the shipping carton.

3 Open the inside flap of the shipping carton.
