The ProMaster 3000 from Data I/O
®
is a fully integrated,
fully automated system for programming, testing, sorting
and labeling programmable devices. The system is
controlled by Data I/O’s TaskLink PC Control Software for
easy automation of programming tasks. The result is a
complete turnkey solution that improves the productivity,
quality and flexibility of your production process.
Providing universal support for devices in both DIP and
surface-mount technology (SMT) packages up to 84 pins,
the ProMaster 3000 can program, label and sort as many
as 700

devices per hour. Its state-of-the-art pick-and-
place handling technology minimizes damage to delicate
surface-mount devices, for safe high-volume, high-yield
SMT production. Automated tube-to-tube processing also
eliminates human error and device damage, and
minimizes any electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage
caused by human handling.
From input to output, the ProMaster 3000 has been
designed for flexibility. Pick-and-place heads can rotate
devices, so programming and labeling proceed without
interruption regardless of device orientation in the tubes.
A high-density, thermal printer quickly prints and applies
device labels, available in a wide variety of materials and
sizes, in one swift and precise operation. The ProMaster
3000 is also available with automated tape-and-reel
output.
