Product Information
PILOT-1600 is designed for the production centers that
demand high throughput. It programs 16 Microchip
Technology PICmicro microcontroller (MCU) devices
simultaneously, typically in 15 seconds to 1 minute,
depending on device size. Each device is verified with
both high and low Vcc margins according to Microchip
Technology’s production programmer requirements.
PILOT-1600 is a very versatile memory/micro
programmer, capable of programming all of Microchip
Technology’s PICmicro MCUs and Serial PROMs. It also
supports a wide variety of other devices including
EPROMs, flash and other kinds of micros.
Easy snap-on GM-series gang modules allow fast change
from one package type to another. A complete array of
gang modules is available directly from Advin for
programming all package types, including: DIP, PLCC,
SOIC, SSOP, TSSOP and TQFP.
Supplied software is very easy to use and provides plenty
of useful functions such as reading from a data file or
master, setting of specific configuration bits, device
securing, automatic generation of serial numbers, etc.
Macro files can be setup easily, translating into simple
operation for non-technical personnel.
PILOT-1600 interfaces to the PC host through the
standard parallel port. Built-in power supply automatically
adjusts to any international AC input voltage between 85
and 264 volts, making it ideal for international use.
