If the system is using network ID, Skip to option “3”.
If the system is using Call Book, Select option “2”.
The Edit Call Book menu should appear:
In a point-to-multipoint system, the master broadcasts and the packets are ltered at the remote units based off the
master call number. The master call book number must be in each remote and repeater call book that is communicating
directly with the master. The repeater call book number must be in each remote and repeater call book that is
communicating with the repeater.
In point-to-multipoint the master can be left blank (000-0000).
In a point-to-point system, the master call book number must be in the remote and the remote call book number in the
master.
Entering or modifying call book numbers in the call book.
•Select the entry number (0 – 9) you wish to change.
•When prompted “Enter New Number”, enter the 7 digit call number of the unit to call (the dash is automatically
inserted).
•Enter the Repeater1 in a Point to Point Network.
If no repeater is to be used or this is a Point to Multipoint Network,
press “ESC” to return to the modied call book menu screen.
•Enter the Repeater2 in a Point to Point Network.
If no Repeater2 is to be used, press “ESC” to return to the modied call book menu screen.
Press “ESC” to return to the Main Menu.
