(7) Point to Multipoint Repeater
•The Wireless I/O Extenders can be used as a repeater and remote in a multipoint network.
•A SRM6000 unit can be used in this mode as a pass through link for the DD(AA)1000 system.
•A SRM6100 unit can be used in this mode as a pass through link for the DD(AA)1000/2.4GHz system.
•A PLR5000 unit can be used in this mode as a pass through link for a PLR580D(A) system.
•The call book number or Network ID of the master must be set in the repeater.
•The Slave/Repeater mode must be set to operate as a Remote and a repeater.
Note: Number of repeaters must be set to 1 in the “Edit MultiPoint Parameters” page when a repeater is used.
•The master must be set to MultiPoint Master.
Press “ESC” to return to the Main Menu.
Select option “1”
The Set Baud Rate menu should appear:
The Wireless I/O Extender can operate at different baud rates. Default is 19200 Baud.
Note: This must match the baud rate set in the microprocessor.
Do not change the other parameters from default as seen above. Changing these parameters may cause the system to
be mis-congured and the status LED will be lit or blink to indicate a system problem.
Press “ESC” to return to the main menu.
