RF Operation
Requirements
•Per FCC Rules, the maximum power allowed at the antenna is 4 Watts E.I.R.P.
•Maximum RF transmit power is:
DD(AA)1000 955mW
DD(AA)1000/2.4 500mW
PLR580D(A) 200mW
•Standard thread SMA connection for coax and external antenna connections.
Field Configuration

To access the I/O or Radio Conguration the user must remove all connectors from the Wireless I/O Extender, then
remove the cover and change the switches, and connect the programming cable, supplied by Data-Linc Group, to
connector P3. The switch settings must be returned to the Run Mode settings after reconguring the system or the unit will
not operate. Refer to Appendix B and C for more conguration information.
There are 3 congurations of the switches.
1. Run Mode Normal Wireless I/O Extender Operating Mode
2. PIC Cong Access to the I/O Conguration
3. Radio Cong Access to Radio Conguration
If changing the I/O Conguration go to Appendix B.
If changing the Radio Conguration go to Appendix C.
Switch Location
