Transmitter or system failure
Indication Possible Cause Corrective Action
The transmitter's
transmission and
communication LED's
are flashing amber.
Transmitter failure.
(Please refer to
section POST for
detailed failure
description.)
Contact Data Critical
Corp. regarding repair
and/or replacement of
transmitter.
The transmitter's
transmission LED is
amber for long
periods of time.
RF interference. Perform a site survey
as described in "Initial
Installation".
Increase distance
between transmitter
and possibly interfering
equipment.
Contact Data Critical
Corp tech support.
The transmitter's
transmission LED is
green for more than 2
seconds.
Transmitter failure. Turn off transmitter and

Corp. regarding repair
and/or replacement of
transmitter.
The transmitter can't
be turned off.
If the transmitter is
communicating with a
monitoring device,
and the the
communications LED
is green, then the
transmitter is
functioning properly.
If the communications
LED is amber, then
the transmitter is
malfunctioning.
Disconnect the
transmitter from the
monitoring device, or
turn off the monitoring
device. When the
communications LED
turns amber, turn off the
transmitter.
Unplug the transmitter's
power supply. Contact
Data Critical Corp.
regarding repair and/or
replacement of
transmitter.
