Stage 6 Failure is an indication of hardware failure, even if
transmitter seems to recover (only exception is when installer has
programmed new software into transmitter). In case of a Stage 6
failure, all programming will be lost, and data will need to be
reprogrammed into transmitter.
3. The Communications LED is solid green when transmitter
has established communication with monitor.
The Transmitting LED will flash green, and transmitter will
send a Comm OK Page to the assigned pager(s) to confirm
communication between the transmitter and monitor. The
message will display:
Bed: 1234
Comm OK
All Pagers*
*Last line All Pagers will be replaced with “Pager 1234” if one
pager is assigned to transmitter, and “Pager 1234 5678” if two
pagers are assigned. The 4 digits correspond to the last 4 digits
of the assigned pager(s) cap code.
4. Verify that a page is sent to the assigned pager(s) and that
the bed number is correct.
The transmitter will now send pages to the assigned pager(s)
whenever it detects alarms identified by the monitor.
