Another possible error message pages would be a loss of
communications with the PME:
Comm Fail
Retrying Comms
If, after an hour, communications is not established, a shut down
message will be sent
Comm Fail
Tx Shut Down
The AlarmView Programmer will also post error messages
encountered during communications with the transmitter.
If, during a communication attempt, the IR port could not be
accessed, the AlarmView Programmer will post the following
message in an error dialog box.
UNABLE TO ACCESS PORT
PROBABLY IN USE
If the IR port could be accessed, but communications could not
be established between the PDA and the transmitter, the
AlarmView Programmer will post the following message in an
advisory dialog box.
Please by sure the IR port
is pointed directly at the
transmitter, at a distance
less than 18in (60cm),
and try again.
The following status message will also be displayed on the top
middle of the Programmer screen.
