Sound Volume Adjustment
You can adjust the sound volume for Touch/Mouse clicks, Medical Alarms, and Tech-
nical Alarms.
To adjust the sound volume:
1. Press Vol ume on the Passcode screen to display the System Volume Setup
screen.
Note: The Volume button is enabled and disabled by your System Administrator.
If this button is disabled, check with your System Administrator for details.
2. Click on the appropriate slider bar and hold the mouse button down while you
move the red slider up or down to select a volume, then release. A sample
sound is generated when you release the mouse button.
Note: Make sure the mouse pointer is within the vertical bar when you release the
mouse button. Otherwise, the volume will not change.
If you have a touch screen, touch the slider at the desired volume. A sample sound is
generated.

Touch Click (mouse click): select a volume or turn the sound off.
Medical alarm: select a volume between Min and Max; you cannot turn the volume
of medical alarms off.
Note: The minimum alarm limits are set by the System Administrator.
Technical alarm: select a volume between Off and Max, represented by tick marks
on the right of the bar. (Maximum levels can be adjusted by the system administrator.)
3. Click the Exit button to return to the Passcode screen.
