` Before beginning the

installation procedure

In order to use the automatic cut device in an optimum way with your printer, it is

necessary to limit the left-hand printing position of the paper. One or more of the

8 sleeves supplied must be mounted on the left-hand side of the front round tractor

shaft (as viewed from the front side of the printer) depending on the paper path

used (tractor 1, optional tractor 2 or, on the 2T model, the rear tractor). This pre-

vents the left-hand tractor from sliding too far to the left.

If the left-hand tractor is set too far to the left, a paper jam may occur when using

the automatic cut device.

Tractor 1

Mount 5 sleeves on the front tractor shaft and slide it com-

pletely to the left.
