Conventions Used in This Manual

The following conventions are used in this manual:

< > Angle brackets, containing numbers separated by an ellipsis, represent

a range of values associated with a bit or signal name (for example,

ACH<0..7> stands for ACH0 through ACH7).

bold

Bold text denotes menus, menu items, or dialog box buttons or options.

italic

Italic text denotes emphasis, a cross reference, or an introduction to a

key concept.

bold italic

Bold italic text denotes a note, caution, or warning.

DAQ Refers to the National Instruments data acquisition products.

MIO Refers to the National Instruments 100-pin, 68-pin, and 50-pin MIO

Series boards.

SC-205

Refers to the National Instruments SC-2050, SC-2051, SC-2052,

SC-2053, SC-2054, SC-2055, and SC-2056 boards.

SC-206

Refers to the National Instruments SC-2060, SC-2061, and SC-2062

boards.

SC-207

Refers to the National Instruments SC-2070, SC-2071, and SC-2072

boards.
