CDR-110MKIV Warning Unpacking Instructions Immediately upon receiving this product, carefully unpack the carton and check the contents to ensure that all parts are present, and have been received in good condition. Notify the dealer immediately and retain packing material for inspection if any parts appear damaged from shipping or the carton itself shows signs of mishandling. Save the carton and all packing materials.
CDR-110MKIV Do not insert objects into air vents. Do not connect this system to a dimmerpack. Do not switch the system on and off in short intervals, as this would reduce the system’s life. Do not open the device and do not modify the device. Do not drive the inputs with a signal level bigger, than required to drive the equipment to full output. Only use system indoor, avoid contact with water or other liquids.

CDR-110MKIV Description of the device Features The CDR-110 is a CD/SD/MMC/USB compatible MP3 Player/ Recorder from DAP Audio. You can use the CDR-110 to record directly to either USB or SD/MMC card. If both media are present, the USB stick has priority as recording destination. CDR-110MKIV Installation CDR-110 Installation Remove all packing materials from the device. Check that all foam and plastic padding is removed. Screw the device in a 19“ rack. Connect all cables. Always disconnect from electric mains power supply before cleaning or servicing. Damages caused by non-observance are not subject to warranty. Set Up and Operation Before plugging the unit in, always make sure that the power supply matches the product specification voltage.
CDR-110MKIV 10, 30) Eject : Press this button to eject the CD. 11) Rec level VU meter: Allows you to monitor the Aux in (23) input to record without distortion by using the Rec input vol (21) control. 12) SD MMC card: Use this port to connect your SD/MMS card for playback/recording. 13) LCD: When powering on the CDR-110 without a USB stick or a SD/MMC card inserted, the CDR-110 will start searching for a source, indicated by “USB” blinking in the display.
CDR-110MKIV 23) Aux in: Connect an external device from which you want to record. 24) AC Inlet with integrated fuse holder: This connector is meant for the connection of the supplied main cord. Connect one end of the power cord to the connector, the other end to the mains, then turn on the power switch to operate the unit. Note: Please make sure that the supply voltage matches the operation voltage before connecting the unit to mains. Replace the fuse only with a fuse of same specification (T630mA).
CDR-110MKIV 6. Using the Find function: 01) Press the Find (15, 35) button once to start track search. See fig. 05. Fig. 05 02) You can change the Search character by using the Rev (6, 40) and Cue (7, 39) buttons. 03) If you find more than one track starting with the same search character then press and hold either Rev (6, 40) or Cue (7, 39) button for three seconds. The search character starts blinking.
CDR-110MKIV 9. Pausing 01) Press the Play/Pause (9, 34) button to switch between play and pause. 02) Playback resumes when the Play/Pause (9, 34) button is pressed again. 10. Recording: 01) Press the Func (20, 41) button to select a source. You can select: CD: for recording from a CD directly to either SD/MMC card or USB stick (in MP3 format). AUX: for recording from a source connected to the Aux In (23) input directly to either SD/MMC card or USB stick (in MP3 format).
CDR-110MKIV 11. Delete a track 01) Stop playback by pressing the Stop (8, 35) button. 02) Press and hold down the Del (43) button for 3 seconds. Now you’re in delete mode. 03) Select a folder by using the Rev (6, 40) and Cue (7, 39) buttons. 04) Open the folder by pressing and holding either the Rev seconds. 05) Select the track you wish to delete. 06) Pres the Del (43) button again. 07) Now your track is deleted. (6, 40) or the Cue (7, 39) button for 3 12.
CDR-110MKIV Maintenance The DAP Audio CDR-110MKIV requires almost no maintenance. However, you should keep the unit clean. Disconnect the mains power supply, and then wipe the cover with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in liquid. Do not use alcohol or solvents. Keep connections clean. Disconnect electric power, and then wipe the audio connections with a damp cloth. Make sure connections are thoroughly dry before linking equipment or supplying electric power.
