PELLET VENT TERMINATION

Termination must be a minimum of 6” above the chimney as shown at A (NOTE: Chimney must meet local

codes for height above the roof or other obstructions)

Vent termination must not be recessed into a wall or siding

NOTE: Where passage thru a wall or partition of combustible contruction is desired, the installation shall

conform to NFPA 211 in the USA and CAN/CSA B365 in Canada

There must be an approved cap to prevent water from entering the pipe shaft (

B),

or a 45 elbow downturn (

If the termination is located on a windy side of the

house, an approved house shield is recommended

to prevent soot from accumulating on the side of

the house

There must be a metal seal plate or a wall

thimble at point

Termination must NOT be located where snow

or other materials will plug it
