ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Please refer to the Assembly Diagram for the following installation instructions.
1. Insert funnel #7 into upper tube #3 and secure it tightly by two screws #8
2. Connect the upper tube #3 into the lower tube #2 and secure it tightly by bolt #4, washer
#5 and nut #6
3. Put the lower tube #2 into the tank #1 and secure it by tightening the adjusting clamp # 11
4. Screw the cap oat gauge #10 into the drain tube on the tank #1.
This completes the assembly.
5. To operate the oil drain, slightly unscrew the adjustable clamp and allow the two tubes and
the funnel to slide downward to the lowest position.
6. Move the 8 gallon oil drain under the raised vehicle, making sure the funnel is positioned
directly below the oil drain plug of the engine.
7. Raise the upper tube and funnel until the funnel sits approximately 4” directly below the
oil drain plug of the engine. Then, tighten the adjustable clamp to hold the upper tube, lower
tube and the funnel in place.
8. Remove the oil drain plug of the engine, and allow the old oil to completely drain from the
engine into the funnel of the 8 gallon oil drain.
9. Once the old engine oil is completely drained, replace the oil drain plug of the engine.
10. When the cap oat gauge starts to rise and you see the red rod appearing your tank is
near full and should be emptied.
11. When emptying the old oil from the tank of the oil drain, make sure to follow guidelines
for engine oil disposal. If necessary, contact your local solid/liquid waste authority for infor-
mation on recycling and/or disposal.
