Installing the Power Unit
This section describes how to
install
, but not make the connections to, the Power Unit for your Lift.
An Electrician is
not
needed to install the Power Unit.
Because the Top Caps are held in place on two sides of the Power Post, you can install the Power
Unit on either of those two sides.
⚠ DANGER Risk of explosion: The Power Unit has internal arcing or parts that may spark
and should not be exposed to flammable vapors. Never expose the Power Unit
motor to rain or other damp environments. Damage to the motor caused by water
is
not
covered by the warranty.
To install the Power Unit:
1. Determine which side of the Power Post you want to install the Power Unit.
2.
Starting with the Power Unit Holder
: Remove the two Bolts and Washers holding the Top
Cap on the side you want the Power Unit.
You can leave in place the Top Cap Bolts on the other side.
3. Put the Power Unit Holder into place, aligning the holes with the Top Cap holes, then replace the
Washers and Bolts back in place.
