1.0 | INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the DELTA 5 Bolt Action Rie. We pride ourselves on being a
manufacturer of world-class rearms as well as providing top-notch customer service
and the best warranty in the industry. It is our hope that this product meets your every
expectation and serves you well in the coming years. Prior to ring this rie, we ask
that you do the following:
• READ THIS MANUAL IN ITS ENTIRETY
• FOLLOW ALL RULES OF PROPER FIREARMS SAFETY AT ALL TIMES
WHEN HANDLING THIS, AND ANY OTHER FIREARM.
REFER TO SECTION 3 OF THIS MANUAL FOR DETAILS.
• This rie comes packaged with the bolt separated from the action.
Check that the chamber and bore are clear from obstruction,
and then refer to Section 4.1 for details on how to properly assemble
the bolt into the action.
• Familiarize yourself with the rie; learn the controls
and basic function without ammunition.
• All Daniel Defense rearms are shipped with a light oil applied to the metal
components, including the bore of the barrel, to prevent corrosion
during shipping and storage. Before ring, clean the oil from the barrel,
bolt, and action following the procedures outlined in Section 5.0.
• Check the function of the trigger and safety by dry ring the rie.
FOLLOW ALL FIREARMS SAFETY RULES EVEN WHEN DRY FIRING.
• For best accuracy, it is recommended that when ring
the rie for the rst time that the barrel break in
procedure is followed.
