Expansion valve 0= expansion valve closed
1= 100% expansion valve fully open. For service only.
Sum alarm 0= no connection
1= potential-free connection
6.1.1 Testing the circulation pump (HP)
1. Enable the circulation pump by pressing (manual enable).
2. Start the circulation pump by pressing (on/off).
3. Check that the circulation pump is running by:
listening
placing a hand on the pump
listening for air
4. Bleed the system if necessary. See chapter 'Filling and bleeding the water heater and heating system'
5. Stop the circulation pump by pressing .

Testing the brine pump
Caution The brine circuit may be pressurised to max 6 bar.
1. Enable the brine pump by pressing (manual enable).
2. Start the brine pump by pressing (on/off).
3. Check that the brine pump is running by:
listening
placing a hand on the pump
checking that the level in the expansion tank is stable. If the level
varies, there is air in the system .
listening for air
4. Bleeding the brine circuit.
1. Run the brine pump and the external pump in series until liquid,
free of air, comes out of the return hose.
2. Open the safety valve on the expansion tank and fill up to 2/3.
3. Close the safety valve.
4. Bleed the expansion tank.
5. Press
to stop the brine pump. Allow the external pump to
continue running.
6. Open the valve with the external pump still running, in order to
remove air between the valves.
7. Check the system for leaks.
Repair any leaks immediately.
8. Close the valve and pressurise the system using the external
pump.
9. Close the valve.
10. Stop the external pump and disconnect it from the filling equip-
ment.
11. Apply insulation to the filler cock.
