series with each TGE to allow liquid
refrigerant to bypass when ow is
opposite the TXV xed direction.

Changeover is by means of a 4-way
valve.
A suction lter drier is often placed in
suction lines just before the
compressor. The normal ow direction
of TGE is determined by the primary
function, i.e. cooling or heating.
