Oanby LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY
Thisqualityproductis warrantedto be freefrommanufacturer'sdefectsin materialandworkmanship,providedthatthe unitisusedunderthenormaloperating
conditionsintendedbythe manufacturer.
Thiswarrantyisavailableonlyto the personto whomthe unitwasoriginallysold byDanbyor byan authorizeddistributorofDanby,andisnon-transferable.
TERMSOFWARRANTY
PIasticparts(ie.evaporatordoor,doorrails,coversandtraysarewarrantedforthirty(30)daysonlyfrompurchasedate,withno extensionsprovided.
FirstYear Duringthe firstyear(1), anyelectricalpartsof thisproductfoundto bedefective,includinganysealedsystemunits,willbe repairedor
replaced,at warrantor'soption,at no chargetothe ORIGINALpurchaser.Consumableparts(ie. lightbulbs)arenotwarrantedor
guaranteedforanylengthof time.
SecondThrough Duringthe nextfouryears(4)anypart ofthe sealedsystemfoundtobe defective(consistingof compressor,condenser,evaporator,
FifthYear dryerand allrelatedtubing)willbe replacedwithoutcharge. ThepurchasershallpayforaIIlaborandreturnfreightduringthis four year
(4)periodfor repairor replacementof anysealedsystemcomponents.Anyunitbeingdiagnosedas non-functionaldue tosealed
systemfailureandwarrantingan exchangeduringtheexistingfour (4) yearswillbesubjecttoan appropriatedepreciationoruserfee,
includinganyandallfreightchargesbeing leviedagainsttheconsumer.
ToObtainService Danbyreservesthe rightto limitboundariesof"ln HomeService"duetothe proximityof anAuthorizedServiceDepot.Anyappliance
requiringserviceoutsidethe LimitedBoundariesof "In HomeService",it will bethe customer'sresponsibilityto transportthe appliance
to the closestAuthorizedServiceDepotat theirownexpense.Contactyourdealerfromwhomyourunitwaspurchased,or contactyour
nearestauthorizedDanbyservicedepot,whereservicemustbeperformedbyaqualifiedservicetechnician.If serviceisperformedon
the unitsby anyoneotherthanan authorizedservicedepot,or theunitisusedforcommercialapplication,all obligationsof Danbyunder
this warrantyshaltbeat anend.
ThefollowingcIauserefersto singleanddoubledoorrefrigerators,suppliedwithorwithouta separatefreezersection.Nothingwithinthis warrantyshatlimply
thatDanbywill be responsibleor liabIeforanyspoilageordamageto foodorother contentsof thisappliance,whetherdueto anydefectofthe appliance,or its
use,whetherproperorimproper.
EXCLUSIONS
Saveas hereinprovided,DanbyProductsLimited(Canada)or DanbyProductsInc.(U.S.A.),thereareno otherwarranties,conditions,representationsor
guarantees,expressor implied,madeorintendedby DanbyProductsLimitedoritsauthorizeddistributorsand allotherwarranties,conditions,representationsor
guarantees,includinganywarranties,conditions,representationsorguaranteesunderanySaleof GoodsActor IikelegislationorstatueisherebyexpressIy
excluded.Saveashereinprovided,DanbyProductsLimited(Canada)or DanbyProductsInc.(U.S.A),shallnot be responsiblefor anydamagesto personsor
property,includingtheunititself,howsoevercausedor anyconsequentialdamagesarisingfromthemalfunctionof theunitandby thepurchaseof theunit,the
purchaserdoesherebyagreeto indemnifyand saveharmIessDanbyProductsLimitedfromanyclaimfordamagesto personsorpropertycausedbythe unit.
GENERALPROVtSIONS
Nowarrantyor insurancehereincontainedorsetout shallapplywhendamageorrepairis causedby anyof thefollowing:
1) PowerFailure.
2) Damageintransitorwhenmovingthe appIiance.
3) Improperpowersupplysuchaslowvoltage,defectivehousewiringorinadequatefuses.
4) Accident,alteration,abuseor misuseof the appliancesuchasinadequateair circulationintheroomorabnormaloperatingconditions,
(extremelyhighorlowroomtemperature).
5) Useforcommercialorindustrialpurposes.
6) Fire,waterdamage,theft,war,riot,hostility,actsof Godsuchas hurricanes,floodsetc.
7) Servicecallsresultingin customereducation.
Proofofpurchasedatewinbe requiredforwarrantyclaims;so,pleaseretainbillsof sale. tn the eventwarrantyserviceisrequired,presentthisdocumentto our
