Click on clock source to override the automatically assigned clock source to select
your own. Clock sources can be DANTE IN, WDCLK, INTERNAL, and ADAT. See Menu
Screen on page 57 for more information.
All mute LEDs flash together if there is no valid clock source. This typically means
the unit has no digital signal at the inputs.
NOTE: The Dante network sample rate can be set in the Dante Controller software.
System
It is possible to have multiple systems on your network. For example, some facilities
may wish to have one network serve separate studios. It is not desirable for these sys-
tems to interact or be viewed when using a different studio. The Model N allows you
to create up to 16 separate systems on one network.
Separating Systems
To separate multiple systems:
1. Select the first unit to include in the system by clicking it in the Top Pane.
2. Click the system button and select a unique number for that system.
3. Repeat for each unit in that physically linked system, making sure to use
the same number for each unit in the system.
4. Repeat steps 1–3 for each system.
5. To query which system a unit belongs to, select it in the Top Pane and view
its number on the system button.
Selecting Units to Display
After dividing units into separate systems, you may want to restrict the units shown
in the Top Pane to those in your studio. To do this:
1. Hover the mouse cursor over the names of the units that you want to dis-
play, and note their IP addresses.
2. Ctrl-click on the + sign at the right of the Top Pane.
The + sign turns red.
3. Quit and relaunch the Dugan Control Panel.
It opens with Auto Detect Disabled in the Top Pane
4. Click on the red + sign, and enter the IP address of the first unit you want
to add.
5. Repeat step 4 until your units all appear in the Top Pane.
