Channel Pane
The Channel Pane contains all channels in the selected block of the Top Pane (high-
lighted with the yellow rectangle). If your screen is wider, you can display more
channels by stretching from the right margin. Otherwise, you can use the scroll bar
at the bottom to see additional channels, or select a different block in the Top Pane.
Channels are either in bypass or one of three operating modes: man, auto,ormute.
The active channel mode illuminates. All transitions are made with a smooth, rapid
fade. Select a channel mode by pressing the individual mode buttons or the Master
PRESET button.
Figure 5-3 shows a typical system: channels 1–4 in auto with ambient noise, and
channels 5–8 in mute.
