Manually Add Unit
A router may be configured to reject broadcast packets, in which case the unit will
not appear in the Dugan Utility list pane. You can manually add the unit, but you
must first find its IP address.
To determine the IP address:
1. On the front panel, select MENU by pressing the up then left navigation arrows.
2. Press ENTER.
The MENU screen appears.
3. Select Network Setup by pressing the down then right navigation arrows.
4. Press ENTER.
The Network Setup screen appears.
5. Check that the IP Address is in the same subnet as the computer (first three groups
are the same).
If it is in the same subnet, note the IP Address and proceed to step 1 below.
If it is not in the same subnet, continue.
6. Deactivate the
DHCP button.
7. Match the first three groups of the IP Address with the computer, and assign your
own number to the last group.
This number must not have been assigned to another device in this network. You
may need to consult with the administrator of the network to determine this.
To manually add the unit:
1. In the Dugan Utility, click Manually Add Unit.
2. Enter the IP address from the Front Panel’s Network Setup screen.
3. Click OK to exit the dialog.
4. Click Refresh List.
5. Select the unit you added.
You should see Unit Reachable: YES.
