3. Decalcify heating tube coil when necessary. Frequency depends on the
amount of calcium in your water. When decalcifying acid is used follow the
instructions of the manufacturer in order to prevent damage to the machine.

6.0 FUNCTIONING AND PROTECTION
The on/off button (fig. 1;217) starts the electromotor. This switch is also the
resetbutton for the thermal overload device, which protects the motor from
overheating.
The high pressure water pump (fig. 3;133) is direct driven by the motor. Low
pressure water from your own watersupply runs through a self controlled floatation
tank (fig. 3;139) to the pump. Detergent can be mixed in by a dosaging cock (fig.
1;163) from an internal (fig. 3;169) or external tank.
The pressure control valve (fig. 1;173) controls the pressure of the water that goes
to the heating tube coil. When the machine is not set to deliver the maximum
pressure, the extra pressure runs back to the waterinletpipe through a return
mains (fig. 3;175).
For example when low pressure is needed, or when the start/
stop trigger is not squeezed when the machine is running.
In the heating tube coil, the water is heated by an oilburner. A thermostat (fig.
4;148) placed at the end of the tube coil, constantly checks the watertemperature
and compares this to the temperature which has been set at the thermostat at the
front of the machine. When temperature is too low, the burner starts, when the
water has reached it's temperature, the burner stops.
The tube coil is three times protected agains overheating:
1. thermostat knob (fig. 1;218)
: when the right temperature is reached, the fuel
circuit is closed by an electric valve.
2. water mains switch (fig. 3;187):
this protection checks if suffient water is
flowing through the tube coil. If not, then the switch closes the fuel circuit by an
electric valve.
3. microswitch
: this switch is set to the pressure regulator. When the pressure is
set too low, (less then aprox. 30 bar/420 psi) the microswitch closes the fuel
circuit by an electric valve.
