DALSA offers a linear power supply
(with cables) that meets the 4M30’s
requirements (Universal Power Supply,
part number 24-00001-02, contact DALSA
for more information), but it should not
be considered the only choice. Many high
quality supplies are available from other
vendors. DALSA assumes no
responsibility for the use of these
supplies.
When setting up the camera’s power supplies, follow these guidelines:
x Do not connect or disconnect cable while power is on.
x Do not use the shield on a multi-conductor cable for ground.
x Keep leads as short as possible to reduce voltage drop.
x Use high-quality linear supplies to minimize noise.
