BEFORE Installation
The DALI range of install speakers oer a variety of options and are the ultimate solution
for a concealed sound source. With “invisible” speakers, listeners and viewers are allowed
to focus on the musical event and/or the on-screen action.
So if properly fitted and fixed, the audio performance can fully match that of a traditional
floor standing or shelf speaker.
DALI in-stall speakers benefit from DALI’s Wide Dispersion
design principle providing a well-balanced sound and a uniform
sound field throughout the listening area.
DALI’s in-ceiling solutions allow you to spread sound evenly in
areas that are inaccessible with conventional box speakers.
Once installed, in-wall speakers are even shallower than your flat
panel screen.
In-stall speakers oer the same audio system configuration
options as traditional box speakers,including 2.0, 2.1, 5.1, 6.1.
SOUND TIPS
PLACEMENT TIPS
Make sure there is sucient space behind the wall/ceiling surface
to accept the full depth of the in-stall speaker.
Bear in mind that the cut out dimensions are smaller than the
speaker itself, so measure twice and cut once.
If for any reason, there is insucient space inside the wall for
in-wall speakers, you can alternatively build a false wall mounted
on the wall using studs and gypsum board or similar construction
panels. This solution also allows you the option of flush-mounting
your flatscreen TV in the false wall for a complete, discreet
system.
Please take special care with cabling. If long cable runs are
required (in excess of 15 metres), use cables with sucient cross
section of minimum 1.5 sq. mm (maximum AWG 16).
For the optimal listening experience, always mount the in-stall
speakers well away from room corners in order to minimise the
deleterious eects of hard, direct sound reflections.
