luminaire, as it is defi ned with DALI. If the luminaire has
been switched off via Touch DIM, the luminaire remains out
even after a disruption of the voltage – the installer may in-
correctly assume a defective ECG in this case.
When the luminaire is connected to the mains voltage for
the fi rst time (without control unit), it must switch on with
100 % luminous fl ux (= DALI factory setting). Switiching
from DALI to Touch DIM operation or vice versa presumes
a power voltage disruption to the ECG (safety interlock).
4.9 Dimming amalgam lamps with OSRAM ECGs
With the newest device generation of OSRAM QTi DALI/
DIM, the following families of amalgam lamps are also dim-
mable:
