V.CAMERAWARNINGS

Itisuptoyourdiscretiontokeepyourroadtravelandotheroperationssafe.YourAgCam®willprovideyouwith
informationonlybasedonwhatitsees.Operationofmachinerysafetyguidelinesstillapply.
B. TheAgCam®isequippedwithanarrayofinfraredlightemitterswhichareinvisible
tothehumaneye.Thisfeaturewill
aidinlowlightconditionsbuthaslimitations.Theeffectiverangeofthenightvisionfeatureis1to45+feetandwill
produceamonochromeimageonly.
DONOTATTEMPTTODRIVEMACHINERYUSINGTHISFEATURE.
VI.CABLEROUTINGTIPS&WARNINGS
Therearetwo(2)lengthsofcablethatcomestandardwithourAgCam®camerakits:One(1)20’andone(1)60’.Ifyouwouldlike
topurchasedifferent,oradditional,cablelengths,pleasecontactyourlocalAgCam®dealer.

A. Cableroutingisimportant;whereyouchoosetorunthecablesshouldnotinterferewiththenormaloperationofthe
machineoranysafetyequipment.
B. ALWAYSbeawareofany“pinchpoints”orotherpotentialhazardstothecable(s).
C. Secureallcablestovehicle/equipmentusingcableclips,
ziptiesorotherstylefasteners.
D. IfyouintendtouseyourAgCam®forshortlengthPTOoperatedimplement,avoidexcesscablelengths,ifpossible.
Whenyoudecideonalocation,youshouldfixthecameratoapermanentbracketusing¼inchbolts,andattachany
loosecable
securelysothereisnochanceofentanglementinthePTOorothermovingparts.
E. If you use your AgCam® to monitor a combine hopper or other combine operations, take care to remember that
combineshave many moving parts. Use extreme care when routing cables, and it is strongly
recommended that you
useboltstosecurethecamera.Whileitwouldbesufficienttousethemagneticbaseformonitoringpurposesduring
roadtravel,itisadvisedtosecurethecamerawithboltsduringoperationofthecombine.
VII.MONITORINSTALLATION&MOUNTING
A.MountingPrecautions
Removeyourmonitorcarefullyfrompackagingandinspectallmountinghardware.Mountinglocationisthemost
importantpartofthemonitorinstallationasitensuresyouthemaximumvisualbenefitfromyourAgCam®
system.
Withthatsaid,wheninstallingyourmonitor,ensuretofollowthesethree(3)precautions:
1. Themonitorisoutofdirectsunlight.Thiswillprolongthelifeoftheunitaswellasensureoptimumvisibility.
2. Themonitordoesnotobstructview.
3. Themonitordoesnotinterfere
withthenormaloperationofequipment.
