2.5 Malfunctioning Drain System (AF)
Error code AF
LED indications The table below shows the LED indications.
Error generation The error is generated when the float switch changes from ON to OFF while the compressor is OFF.
Causes The possible causes are:
P Error in the drain pipe installation
P Malfunctioning float switch
P Malfunctioning indoor unit PCB.
Troubleshooting To troubleshoot, proceed as follows:
Caution Be sure to turn off power switch before connecting or disconnecting the connector, or parts damage
may occur.

Check drain pump and drain

exceed specifications.
Faulty trap in water drainage
system
Replace indoor unit PCB.

Does

flow in reverse during

In FHY and FAY problems can also
occur in the optional drain-up kit.
