2.2 Malfunctioning Indoor PCB (A1)
Error code A1
LED indications The table below shows the LED indications.
Error generation The error is generated when the data from the EEPROM is not received correctly.
EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory): A memory chip that holds its
content without power. It can be erased, either within the computer or externally and usually requires
more voltage for erasure than the common +5 volts used in logic circuits. It functions like non-volatile
RAM, but writing to EEPROM is slower than writing to RAM.
Causes The possible cause is a malfunctioning indoor PCB.
Troubleshooting To troubleshoot, proceed as follows:
Caution Be sure to turn off power switch before connecting or disconnecting the connector, or parts damage
may occur.
