Smart Dual Illuminators
The camera oers both IR and white-light illuminators and intelligently
employs each depending on the situaon. Typically, the camera enters
the IR mode as ambient light decreases. When the camera detects
an object entering the monitoring area, it acvates the white-light
illuminator to capture full-color details. Once the object leaves the area,
the camera switches back to IR illuminaon.
Enhanced Power over Ethernet (ePoE) Technology
Dahua's innovave ePoE technology oers a plug-and-play soluon to
transmit power and data over long distances via Ethernet or coaxial
cables, reducing installaon me and saving money. ePoE technology is
a viable, cost-eecve soluon for extending transmission distances and
for converng exisng, coax-based analog systems into IP systems.
Starlight Technology
For challenging low-light applicaons, Dahua's Starlight Ultra-low Light
Technology oers best-in-class light sensivity, capturing color details
in low light condions. The camera uses a set of opcal features to
balance light throughout the scene, resulng in clear images in dark
environments.
ArccPro
The Dahua ArccPro Series of extreme-environment cameras combine
temperature-tolerant components, a waterproof enclosure, and an
integrated heater to ensure awless operaon in temperatures as low as
–40° C (–40° F). For applicaons that demand high-resoluon video with
advanced features in extremely cold environments, the Dahua ArccPro
Series oers a camera to sasfy the most demanding requirements.
Environmental
The camera complies with an IK10 impact rang making it capable of
withstanding the equivalent of 5 kg (11.02 lbs) of force dropped from
a height of 40 cm (15.75 in.). Subjected to rigorous dust and water
immersion tests and cered to the IP67 Ingress Protecon rang makes
it suitable for demanding outdoor applicaons.

System Overview
The Dahua 5 MP Acve Alarm camera oers Analycs+ funcons at the
edge – performing complex real-me face capture, people counng,
and perimeter protecon surveillance. The Acve Alarm funcon
responds automacally to triggered alarms using predened responses.
The camera is ideal for a host of diverse applicaons — Starlight+, True
Wide Dynamic Range, and Smart Dual illuminators allow the camera to
operate in any lighng condion and the IP67 and IK10 rang make the
camera suitable for the harshest environments.
Funcons
Acve Alarm
The camera features acve alarm funconality to respond automacally
to a triggered alarm. The congurable automac responses include
acvaon of the white-light illuminator to capture color images of the
scene and the broadcast of a built-in message or siren.
Face Mask Detecon¹
The camera captures faces from video images and analyzes the image
for the presence of a face mask, useful for maintaining entrance
management policies. The camera is capable of detecng a person
without a mask at up to 17 feet and sounds a voice alert nofying the
person about the absence of a mask.
People Counng
The camera uses complex real-me people counng algorithms to
deliver accurate ow stascs from two disnct people counng
funcons, Line Crossing and Regional. The line crossing funcon counts
the number of people crossing a dened line, and the regional funcon
counts the number of people in a disnct, user-dened area.
Perimeter Protecon
Dahua Analycs+ includes Tripwire and Intrusion funcons that oer
custom tripwires based on object type for automaon in limited access
areas. Perimeter Protecon requires less pixels to detect an object to
deliver improved accuracy and decreased false alarms due to lights,
weather, trees, or animals.
